1. What this service is

Safety Machine provides an AI model training platform and experimental research tool. Features may change, and outputs are experimental.

2. Safety Coin (SC)

Safety Coin is a utility token used for compute access on the platform. It is not a financial instrument, has no cash value, and is non-refundable.

3. Uptime and training results

We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, or specific outcomes from model training or inference.

4. User responsibility

You are solely responsible for your prompts, datasets, model modifications, and any use or deployment of models you create.

5. Abuse and termination

Safety Machine may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, misuse, policy violations, or legal risk.

6. Research usage

Safety Machine's core mission is AI alignment research. By using this platform, you knowingly consent that your conversations, prompts, model training sessions, and model edits may be observed and used for AI safety and alignment research, including Suva's observation layer.

We frame this as a contribution to public-benefit safety research: your interactions help improve methods for building safer AI systems.

An AI research agent may publish research publicly based on patterns and findings learned from platform interactions.

7. GPU cost overages

Safety Machine is not liable for GPU costs or usage outcomes exceeding available SC balance.

8. Hugging Face publishing

Publishing to Hugging Face is your responsibility. Safety Machine is not liable for what you publish, distribute, or host there.

9. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.

10. Changes to these terms

Safety Machine may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
